As a college student, sometimes it's hard to go to bed at a reasonable and consistent hour. However, I've found that setting aside time each evening to wind down helps me not only sleep better but brings more peace into my life.
I challenge you to find an evening routine that works for you. Experiment, try new things, and do what you feel is right. However, if you need a place to start, I'd love to share mine with you.
Here's my evening routine:
30 Minutes Before Bed- Shut down electronics, set alarm for the next day, and put phone in bedtime mode
25 Minutes Before Bed- Take a Shower, Wash Face, Brush Hair, Get in PJs
10 Minutes Before Bed- Turn down bed and Write in Journal (it's super important to have a moment of peace and reflection before you sleep!)
3 Minutes Before Bed- Pray
